Members will have already received the Notice of the AGM which will be held in the Dickens Suite of the Dickens Inn on Monday 16th October 2017.
Timings are 18.30 for a 19.00 start. A welcome drink will be served and the formal meeting will be followed by a social evening with refreshments kindly provided by the management of the Dickens Inn. This is your opportunity to come and hear the latest news about the activities of your Association and a round-up of news about St Katharine Docks.

The Management of the Four Seasons Hotel on Tower Hill which opened in January this year, have kindly invited members to a drinks reception in the Rotunda Bar & Lounge with the opportunity to have a tour of the property. We are delighted that the hotel will be joining our concession scheme and details of their initial offer to members will be announced soon.
The hotel boasts two excellent restaurants. "La Dame de Pic London" which is the only UK outpost from acclaimed French Chef Anne-Sophie Pic, has achieved its first Michelin star in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2018 only eight months after opening. Commenting on the announcement, Anne-Sophie Pic said, "It is the greatest honour to have been awarded a Michelin star. This star is testament to the entire team's dedication to delivering excellence to every guest dining in the restaurant daily. I am extremely proud to receive this recognition for my first restaurant in the UK." "La Dame de Pic London" builds upon her existing portfolio of Michelin-starred restaurants in Valence***, Lausanne** and Paris*.
In June the Hotel opened the doors to "Mei Ume", its Japanese and Chinese restaurant. Demonstrating the part both cuisines play in the concept of the restaurant, the name Mei Ume is inspired by the Chinese and Japanese terms for plum blossom. Head Chef Tony Truong, formerly of Royal China, is leading the kitchen team, supported by Sushi Chef Mun Seok Choi, who previously worked at Sake no Hana, and Dim Sum Chef Derrick Chen, who has joined from Yauatcha.
The Spa & Fitness Centre
The Spa opened in June and offers a sanctuary of wellness and nurturing in the heart of the City. Monday 4th December
On Monday 4th December we will be holding our very popular Festive Dinner in the Bridge Suite of the Guoman Tower Hotel. Those who attended last year were enthusiastic about the addition of a disco at the end of the evening (indeed there was some very enthusiastic dancing by some members!) so we are delighted that DJ Jules has agreed to return this year. A booking form will be emailed to members in mid October for this event, so for now, please save the date!
